VBS
We're getting ready for VBS, and the kids' courses are pretty standard Bible study and songs. But our church does the coolest thing ... it also offers classes for adults, kind of like enrichment courses, for that one week. Hubby's going to teach one on hunting and outdoors, and I'm going to teach one on Internet basics. How cool.
It's open to anyone who wants to come, not just members of the church. Classes will be nightly, the week of June 9-13. E-mail me if you're interested and I'll send you more info.

That is a great idea! I always wanted my old church to do that but they thought I was crazy and stupid. Hence, I'm not there anymore.... for many reasons....
LOL. Well, if you're interested in adult VBS, let me know. I'm not sure how many courses will be offered, or on what, but I can find out for you.

That is a really good idea!
I think it's cool how it's open to the public. The church is going to take out a classified to advertise it and I really hope we get a good turnout. :)
My wife just got the info on her class last night. She's pumped.
