From my "son" on Mother's Day

Our baseball player got me a Mother's Day card. Aw. He said thanks for treating him like he's part of the family, and to have an awesome Mother's Day. I did. We went to a Braves game. :)

He walked a couple of times, I think. My daughter and I hung out on the berm for a good portion of the game and during that time I spent more time watching her than the game. The weather was beautiful. Sunny, a slight breeze. About 75 degrees. Perfect baseball weather. The game was over by 4:30. We had dinner from the Kroger deli. He came home in time for dessert, and we spilled the beans about my daughter's crush ... on Greg Creek. She blushed about five shades of red. And wouldn't you know it? Greg Creek was the one who picked him up to go somewhere that night. When he pulled up, my daughter went out and said hello, blushing furiously the whole time. Poor kid.

By the way, he signed the card "Your son ..., (who likes to drink & sleep in)" He reads my blog. LOL

Kroger is cheaper than KFC, and the chicken was baked, not fried. It was yummy. And the big ole slab of chocolate cake was divine!

My poor daughter, though. LOL You should have seen those red cheeks. :)
